Covid-19 information :
Wearing a mask is compulsory for visitors in the castle, the great stables and during equestrian shows.
On your arrival in the castle and in the shop at the exit, a hydroalcoholic gel dispenser is at your disposal to disinfect your hands.
The tour of the castle and the great stables has been redesigned to guarantee your comfort and safety and avoid any crossing between visitors.
The new tour of the castle does not allow us to guarantee easy access to PRMs (people with reduced mobility).
As our audio guides cannot be distributed, you can download a tour application for free (for more details contact our teams on spot).
The toilets in the park, the large stables and the castle are regularly disinfected by our agents.
Visitors with a park ticket or a domain ticket will have access to the rental of carts, rosalies, boats and pedal boats (rental on spot).
Our advice to save some time on your visit
Prepare your visit as soon as possible by booking your tickets online. You can benefit from a 10% discount by booking a dated-ticket!
Pay for your parking ticket at your arrival : at the ticket office (by cash only) or directly at the gate when exiting the parking lot. (Daily-rate: 5€)
Check the calendar on the day of your visit not to miss anything happening that day.
Specific weather conditions may force us to close access to parts of the gardens for safety reasons.
Access to the different areas of the Domain (indoor and outdoor) is not authorized for minors (under 18) unaccompanied by an adult.
How much time to spend at the domain
You can spend about half a day. We advise to spend the whole day to have time to discover the whole offer. We recommend to spend at least 1h30 in the chateau, 2h in the park. regarding the great stables: 45min in the Museum, 1h30 for the shows, equestrian demonstrations last 30 min.
Restaurants and picnic areas
There are three restaurants in the Domaine de Chantilly: La Capitainerie, located in the château, le Café des Ecuries and the Hameau in the anglo-chinese garden.
Picnic tables are free to be used in the English garden and next to the Hamlet. There are in open areas and not protected from weather conditions. See our map.
We recommend that you book your tickets for the shows before your visit.
Last admission is 30 min before the beginning of the show.
Photos are allowed in the château and the Museum of horse without flash or tripod. Photos and videos are not allowed under the dome of the Great Stables during equestrian shows and presentations.
Wedding photos are only allowed in the castle park.
For any photography without equipment (tripod, suitcase, umbrella...), the price is 380 € for the bride and groom and the photographer. Any additional person will have to pay for the "Park" entrance ticket.

Chantilly Domain does not provide lockers. Under France’s Vigipirate national security plan, objects of anykind cannot be storage by our staff.
We ask that you organize yourselves accordingly.
Chantilly domain does not allow pet dogs in, even if held on a leash or in a bag. There’s an exception for service dogs only.
Persons with Disabilities
A wheelchair is available on demand to our staff and adapted electric cars can be rented in the park.
Are accessible by wheelchair: the grand apartments (via the main courtyard), the park, the great stables and the Horse Museum. It is also possible to access the private apartments, the graphic arts office and the shop via the courtyard of the small castle.
The parking is free for disabled people, when presenting yourself and a paper to our staff.
