Once upon a time the Great StablesMore information
For over 30 years now, the troupe of the Great Stables has been designing equestrian shows and demonstrations devoted to the haute-école art of horse training. Combining poetry, acrobatics and humour, the original creations of Sophie and Virginie Bienaimé contribute to Chantilly's international equestrian renown. The equestrian shows and demonstrations take place beneath the 28 metre high majestic dome of the Great Stables, with its ring and its spectators' stands that can accommodate 600 people. Its recently restored fountain features the dates of construction of the Great Stables (1719-1735).
